Rolex Datejust Wimbledon
When Rolex unveiled the Datejust in 1945, it was the first self-winding wristwatch to show the date in a window on the dial — a genuine breakthrough the brand celebrated with an all-new bracelet, the five-link ‘Jubilee,’ named for Rolex’s 40th anniversary.
Nearly eighty years on, the Datejust is the most quietly recognisable watch in the world — the benchmark of understated taste, worn everywhere from boardrooms to red carpets. This 36mm version pairs a sunburst blue dial and fluted white-gold bezel with that original Jubilee bracelet: the reference Rolex, in its most timeless proportions.
